Adala ‘for the right to a fair trial’ is a non-governmental organisation founded in October 2005. Adala works for the reform of the justice system in Morocco, in terms of independence, integrity and competence. Adala’s mission is to support the reform of the legal and judicial systems in order to bring them into line with international standards, in particular the independence of the judiciary, the primacy of the rule of law over morality and the guarantee of judicial and legal security for those subject to trial.
