The Institut de Drets Humans de Catalunya (IDHC) is an association that was born in 1983 in Barcelona thanks to a group of people with a clear sense of protest and struggle for the progress of freedoms and democracy in the world, and with the objective of joining individual and collective efforts of public and private institutions in favor of the expansion of political, economic, social and cultural rights for all people. IDHC has been a regular member of EuroMed Rights since February 1, 2012.
