- On May 03, 2024, the Belgian parliament approved the deployment of Frontex on its territory. Stations, airports, ports and other transit areas will be the field of operations of a maximum of 100 Frontex agents under the authority of the Belgian Federal Police. CSOs fear that the agency will inflate its already rich record of human rights violations in Belgium.
