The 8th General Assembly (GA) of the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network took place in Barcelona from 11-14 December 2008 and gathered 60 representatives from the network’s member organisations, as well as 70 guests and observers over the four days.
The main objectives of the General Assembly were: to evaluate the work done since the last GA in Madrid in 2006, to approve and adopt the Statues, to elaborate the work programme for the period 2008-2010 in terms of action plan and the budget, as well as confirm the new members and elect the new Executive Committee.
