On 27 April, Member States of the United Nations Security Council will give their decision on the renewal of the UN mission for a referendum in Western Sahara.
This is an opportunity for EuroMed Rights to call out the situation of human rights in Western Sahara.
In a letter to Heads of State, we reminded them of the importance of a just and sustainable solution in the region, in conformity with the principles of the Charter of the United Nations and the previous resolutions of the Security Council.
