Feminist activists and allies from Algeria, Tunisia, and Morocco have come together to issue a collective manifesto in response to the growing anti-rights and anti-gender backlash affecting the region.
Gathered in Rabat on 13–14 February 2026 during the Feminist Resistance Vigil Circle, participants reflected on the increasing attacks targeting women’s rights, gender equality, and civic freedoms across North Africa.
Published on the occasion of International Women’s Day (8 March), this manifesto amplifies a collective feminist voice calling for resistance, justice, and equality. Read the manifesto.
