  • On June 27, the Ocean Viking rescued 86 people (80% of them minors) in an overloaded pneumatic boat in distress in international waters.  
  • On June 25, 31 people left Benghazi and have been adrift for several days. Although authorities were informed, no one rescued them. They finally reached Pozzallo (Italy) on June 27.  
  • On June 24, 22 people in distress, fleeing Libya were detected in a small boat south of Lampedusa. They were finally rescued and brought to Lampedusa. 
  • On June 23, a boat carrying 104 people left Tobruk and was in distress on June 26th.  
  • On June 23, 50 people fleeing Libya were at risk in international waters. Libyan authorities were warned but claimed they were off on Fridays. People were finally pushed back into Libya on June 24. 
  • On June 8, 100 people in distress off Libya were intercepted and brought back to Libya.  
  • On June 7, Alarm Phone was called by a group of 252 people, fleeing from Libya, in distress in Malta. They finally reached Lampedusa. 
  • The United Nations called on Libya to end its arbitrary detention and mass expulsions of migrants and demanded that migrants be treated with dignity.
