The Ligue Algérienne pour la Défense des Droits de l’Homme (LADDH) is a national non-profit association governed by the provisions of Law 12/06 of 12 January 2012 on associations. It was founded in 1985 by a group of activists. The LADDH’s mission is to defend individual and collective freedoms, in accordance with the UN Charter of Human Rights, and to combat arbitrariness, intolerance, injustice, oppression, repression and all forms of racism and discrimination. The LADDH which was dissolved in Jan 2023 has been a regular member of EuroMed Rights since January 1, 1997.
