On June 6, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni traveled to Tunisia as part of her bid to stop migrants from making their ways to Italian shores. Meloni pledged to strengthen collaboration with the Tunisian authorities in prevention migration and offered to host an international conference about irregular migration and development in Rome.
