  • On May 09, 2024, under the pretext of threats to “national security”, the British authorities revoked Dana Abuqamar’s Student Visa. This young Palestinian woman had publicly demonstrated against the ongoing massacre in Gaza where she lost 15 of her relatives.
  • On May 02, 2024, while trying to block the passage of a bus carrying migrants to a detention center, at least 45 people were arrested by the London police. The protesters expressed their opposition to Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s relocation of asylum procedures to Rwanda.
  • On May 01, 2024, the British police detained the first individuals set to be expelled from the national territory. The government plans to reach 5,700 deportations this year.
