On 25 November, the organization Refugees in Libya announced that in the Algerian town of Tamanrasset, black migrants had been hunted down, beaten, tortured and thrown into the desert for three days.
On 20 November, a ferry rescued 19 Algerian migrants south of the island of Cabrera in the Balearic archipelago. The boat they were travelling in had been adrift for four days with three children on board, one of whom was only one year old.
