On May 3, 2023 Human Rights Watch published a 94 page report on Illegal pushbacks of migrants and asylum seekers following Croatia’s entry into the border-free Schengen area.
On April 27, 2023 Frontex organised a conference marking the ongoing Phase III of the Protection-Sensitive Migration Management Systems in the Western Balkans programme. The event aimed to reinforce partnerships between border police and EU institutions for the successful execution of the current phase and assess the achievements of previous phases.
