- On 13 June, 2024, UNHCR alerted to the worrying situation of more than 30 asylum seekers, including 7 children, who were in the buffer zone between the Republic of Cyprus and the occupied north of the island. The UN agency recalls their right to apply for asylum in dignified reception conditions.
