6 May 2025 – Today, Türkiye’s human rights record will be reviewed by the United Nations Human Rights Council’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Working Group for the fourth time, during a session held in Geneva. The UPR session will be webcast live here.
EuroMed Rights, together with the Human Rights Association (İHD) and the Human Rights Joint Platform (İHOP), has made a joint submission to the UPR and carried out a mission during the UPR pre-session between the 19th and 21st of February 2025. The UPR Working Group will adopt its recommendations to Türkiye on Friday, 9 May 2025.
