From 27 February to 24 March 2017, the 34th session of the Human Rights Council of the UN is being held in Geneva. On this occasion, EuroMed Rights, World Organisation Against Torture (OMCT) and Front Line Defenders have written a letter to the Member and Observer States of the UN Human Rights Council to draw specifically the Council’s attention on Egypt, newly elected as a member for the period 2017-2020.
